Certificate of Authenticity (COA)

At WALLPIC we offer a certificate of authenticity with each work, so that the buyer is completely sure of its value and has all the guarantees of its authenticity.

What is the certificate of authenticity (COA)?

A certificate of authenticity is a document necessary for the attribution of a work of painting, sculpture or photography, in this case, to a specific artist.

A certificate of authenticity is required to establish that a photographic work is authentic and has been made by the artist selling it.

What is the value of a COA in limited edition photography?

The COA provides veracity of the value of the work and recognition of the financial value of the artist's work in a recognised catalogue. This element is crucial in the framework of limited edition auteur photography.

At WALLPIC we offer a certificate of authenticity together with the invoice of the purchased artwork, so that the buyer is completely sure of its value and has all the guarantees of its authenticity.

What is the certificate of authenticity for?

For the buyer/collector a certificate of authenticity allows:

  • Establishing the identity and authenticity of the work of art

  • Keeping a record of origin in the currency purchased

  • Guarantee its authenticity and value for the development of the artist.

The author of the WALLPIC work can provide a certificate of authenticity:

  • Ensuring the authenticity of your creations

  • Provide a quantification of the authenticity/economic value of your works. This authenticity makes it possible to establish selling prices that are consistent with the market.

  • Facilitating the future of work and its identification

  • Gaining credibility in the art market

Certificate of authenticity issued by Wallpic

WALLPIC offers secure certificates for each of its works.

Wallpic issues an ART Certificate through its collaboration with ART Certificate, a professional company for the issuing and management of authenticity certificates.

The certificate of authenticity that accompanies each photograph will be sent by email to the buyer after purchase. This certificate includes: a description of the work, year of execution, technique, support, dimensions, series and number to which the work belongs, together with the signature of the author.

International Standard - Warranties

Each ART certificate issued by Wallpic includes a QR Code (international standard) for the traceability of each work in the Art Certificate catalogue (ART certificates).

The QR Code is an international standard that helps smartphone users access information more easily. Free reading applications, such as I-nigma or NeoReader, allow these users to flash a QR code to instantly access a web page dedicated to the work.
